Traditional auctions of eyewear will soften and become thin chains that adapt perfectly to the anatomy of the ear . An experimental project that combines a new feature with the craftsmanship.
For a woman that looking for unique and original accessories to wear, Giuliana Di Franco realized the “Jewel Glasses” in collaboration with Italian Soul and for the technical part Eyewere 1955 Italian Factory.

ANIMALIER

A gilded silver and ceramic collection. Animalier was born, in 2016, in collaboration with the Sicilian ceramic jewelry brand “ Le perle di Caltagirone”. For each line of decorating, Giuliana has designed Zoomorphic models .

GIULIANAdiFRANCO® jewels wins in Milan Jacopo Trezzo prize in 2016.

Inside the prestigious “Masters of the Jewel” held at Palazzo Giureconsulti of Milan, it was held a competition to award the Prize Jacopo da Trezzo. In competition unique pieces on the theme: “Italy – Japan: 150 years of relations and friendship.” Rewarded was the work of designers leonfortese Giuliana Di Franco entitled: Peoples compared.

” I wanted to compare the themes of the tradition of two people who are very different. However, both populations live in volcanic soils between almond blossom and express, with love for the colors, the use of spectrum bands and to bust what makes them similar: respect for a magnificent and wild nature.

THE SICILIAN WAY TO CONTEMPORARY JEWELLERY

In recent years Sicily has produced in the world of jewelery a unique and unmistakable style Giuliana Di Franco is a pioneer and forerunner in this process; with the contribute of other sicilian brands, Giuliana wanted to trace a path and indicate a Sicilian way of making jewelry.
A mood, a strongly style characterized by a common language, that of “being Sicilian.” The project was selected character from Sicily Region to promote the area in Expo Milano 2015. Subsequently these project gave rise to a “temporary shop” in Alcamo (Pa).

OLTRE IL TEMPO

Dal connubio tra la microscultura della designer Giuliana Di Franco e il tocco del pittore Alfonso Baja, nasce un progetto unico: tre gioielli, tre dipinti a olio, in un cofanetto prezioso come uno scrigno, realizzati in soli cento esemplari.

I due artisti, nel pieno della loro maturità, realizzano una limited edition che è una dichiarazione: il Bello è una costante che va oltre i confini del tempo.

In un gioco di rimandi e sostituzioni, il gioiello contemporaneo di Giuliana Di Franco è indossato da donne protagoniste di capolavori dell’arte italiana del Rinascimento, riprodotte nelle piccole e preziose tele di Alfonso Baja, trasformandosi così in sorprendenti modelle… “oltre il tempo”.
